Return policy for individual/personal returns

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund within 30 days of the purchase (see below for exclusions). Permission is not necessary. Human Kinetics will issue a refund for the purchase price based on your original payment method, less shipping and handling (in the case of a physical product). Include a copy of your original invoice or your order number with your return. Please contact customer service if you need assistance.

Human Kinetics will not accept returns from customers outside the U.S.


Exclusions

Ebooks

Digital products (ebooks) delivered on VitalSource can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase provided less than 20% of the content has been accessed. Request an ebook refund.


Online courses containing print materials

Human Kinetics will refund purchases of Human Kinetics online courses that contain print materials (i.e. shrink-wrapped textbook and/or key code letter) within 30 days of purchase, provided the course has not been completed.


Online courses that do NOT contain print materials

Human Kinetics will refund customers for purchases of Human Kinetics online courses (those that do not contain print materials) within 7 days of purchase, provided the online course has not been completed.


Other Digital products

Digital products delivered on HKPropel and HK Video can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase or access code redemption, whichever is later.


In all instances, the user's access to the digital product will be revoked upon refund.

Our goal is to ship your order within two business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Online Courses Ebook

Products damaged during shipment must be reported to Human Kinetics within 2 weeks of shipment receipt.

Send proof of damage, your order number and whether you would like a replacement or refund to customersupport@hkusa.com.

At this time, our website is unable to accommodate tax-exempt orders.

For credit card security, do not include credit card information in email.

  • First time orders from US Business/Institutional accounts with a tax-exempt certificate must be emailed to orders@hkusa.com or faxed to 217-351-1549. Include a copy of your sales tax-exempt certificate.
  • Repeat tax-exempt orders may be emailed to orders@hkusa.com, or faxed to 217-351-1549, or phoned at 800-747-4457/217-351-5076
