Print. Most print book disability requests from U.S. and Canadian higher education institutions can be submitted through AccessText Network. If your school is an ATN member, please submit your request through your ATN portal. Online video, online courses, and student and instructor ancillaries. Most of our online video products include closed captioning and audio description. Most of our online courses and student ancillaries are screen-readable and can be accessed via keyboard controls.
New video, course, and student and instructor ancillary products published June 28, 2025, and later strive to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA to comply with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II Subpart H accessibility guidelines.
By customer request, Human Kinetics will remediate any online videos, online courses, and student and instructor ancillaries published before June 28, 2025, that do not already meet these guidelines. Please allow a 45-day lead time. To request remediation or other specific accommodations, please send an email that includes your name, your institution’s name, the accommodations you request, and the title and edition of the product to techsupport@hkusa.com.
Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs). Student and instructor ancillary materials published June 28, 2025, and later have a VPAT available. Refer to our VPAT page to download the VPATs currently available for Human Kinetics products.
