Human Kinetics Coach Education courses offer excellent content for college and university instructors to use in their coaching curriculum. The learning materials are based on a textbook that is packaged with supplemental content delivered in an online format. In addition to reading assignments from the accompanying text, the online content features video clips, interactive exercises, audio clips, quizzes, and other activities that put the student in real-life practice and game-day situations.
Instructors who adopt one of our flagship products—Coaching Principles or Sport First Aid—get complimentary access to a suite of instructor ancillaries designed to help you deliver the course in the classroom setting.
At the conclusion of your course, students have the option to complete a certification exam administered by Human Kinetics (separate from your course exam and included in their materials purchase). Passing that exam grants them a valuable certification that is recognized by numerous state high school associations, school districts, and sport organizations as meeting their coaching education requirements. Plus, the student has the option to be listed in the National Coaches Registry allowing future employers to verify certification.
To request access to review the materials and ancillaries for adoption, please complete the Review Copy Request Form on the main Human Kinetics website.
If you choose to adopt a Human Kinetics Coach Education product, students may purchase the materials through your college bookstore or directly from the Colleges and Universities page on this website. (You will also find detailed course descriptions on that page.)
