Yes, you may contact Human Kinetics for replacement access codes for a fee. Be prepared to explain what you purchased and whether you need access to the online course in HK Propel, access to the Certification Test at CoachEducation.HumanKinetics.com, or both. The following might help you determine what you need:

  • If you purchased a Higher Ed Online Course online:
    • The HK Propel access code for the course would have been emailed to you upon your purchase. If you need help locating this code or wish to request a replacement code (for a fee), please reach out to us at HKPropelCustSer@hkusa.com.
    • Access to the Certification Test would have been automatically granted to you upon your purchase. Log in and click on My Account in the top right corner. Select your course from the Online Course History list.
    • If you need additional help accessing your account at CoachEducation.HumanKinetics.com, contact us at HKRTSupport@hkusa.com.
  • If you purchased a Higher Ed Online Course as a physical package in your institution's bookstore:
    • All codes will have come in a shrink-wrapped package.
    • It’s possible you might have misplaced an access code for the online course in HKPropel, an access code for the Certification Test at CoachEducation.HumanKinetics.com, and/or an access code for a State Component at CoachEducation.HumanKinetics.com from this package.
    • When reaching out to us for replacement code(s) at HKPropelCustSer@hkusa.com, please be ready to provide details of your purchase, including your order number or proof of purchase.

The Certification Test is available at CoachEducation.HumanKinetics.com and is not accessed in HK Propel.

Your ebook can be found in your HKPropel library, next to the online course. Please note that for Higher Ed versions of the course, the ebook is not located in VitalSource. To access your ebook, simply log in to HKPropel.

Access instructions and access codes for courseware and inclusive access are distributed via your institution. Contact your institution's bookstore for help.

The unit quizzes and semester-ending test for the Higher Ed version of an online course are in HK Propel and must be assigned from your instructor to your class within HK Propel. Your instructor needs to first set up a class in HK Propel and then provide your class with that class's class enrollment token. Once the class is set up in HK Propel, your instructor can assign the test. Students who have redeemed the class enrollment token will be part of the class and be notified in HK Propel if the test is assigned by their instructor.

Notifications are in the top right corner of the student view in HK Propel. Check with your instructor first to ensure the quiz/test has been assigned to your class in HK Propel. If it has and you still cannot see it in your HK Propel account, contact us at techsupport@hkusa.com for assistance.

After redeeming an access code and creating an HK Propel account, sign in to HK Propel . Click the three dots in the top right corner near your profile name. Click on My Account, where you'll find options for adding either an access code or a class enrollment token. Add the class enrollment token provided by your instructor in the appropriate box and click the Add button. This action adds you to the class.
