Illinois High School Association (Coaches)

Required courses for IHSA coaches:

Non-faculty coaches must pass three exams before coaching, covering 1) general coaching principles, 2) sport first aid, and 3) IHSA by-laws. Human Kinetics Coach Education courses that meet the Illinois coaching education requirements in these areas are:

IHSA Coaching Principles Online Course OR IHSA Coaching Orientation Online Course (either meets the general coaching requirement)
IHSA Sport First Aid Online Course
IHSA by-laws is a separate unit with a separate test, but it is sold together with the IHSA versions of the coaching courses listed above.

All three exams may also be purchased together in the IHSA Coaching Education Online Course Package OR the IHSA Coaching Orientation Online Course Package.
