Kansas State High School Activities Association

Since 1981, Human Kinetics Coach Education and the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) have trained coaches for the member schools of Kansas. Human Kinetics Coach Education is proud of the long-time affiliation with the KSHSAA, and we look forward to training new KSHSAA coaches in the future.
With the requirement that all non-faculty interscholastic coaches in Kansas be trained prior to assuming coaching duties in their second year, we are poised to assist the KSHSAA in reaching this commendable goal. Our courses that meet the Kansas requirements to become an unsupervised Coach Aid are Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid. Coaches must pass Coaching Principles (online or classroom) as well as Sport First Aid (online or classroom) or an equivalent to earn certification.
For a list of scheduled Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid classroom courses, contact the KSHSAA.
Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid online courses include textbooks that are available as ebooks or printed texts. Either format is acceptable.
With the ebook version, you gain immediate access to your course, the course is less expensive, nothing is shipped to you, and you avoid shipping charges. (Coaching Orientation does not include a textbook; all reading material is provided as PDFs within the course.)
Purchase ebook versions of Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid at the same time and save $20! Use promo code KSHSAACP at checkout.
The paperback versions of Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid provide you with the tangible benefits of having a physical book at your fingertips. The drawbacks are that you have to wait for the book to be shipped to you and you pay for shipping.
Purchase Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid with paperback* at the same time and save $20! Select the bundled course from the listing below (shipping charges apply).
* Please note that when purchasing a bundled course package with paperback, you will not have immediate access to your courses. You will need to wait for your course materials to be shipped to you. These materials include the print textbook(s) and key code letters. Key codes are required to “unlock” your online courses on the website.
Thank you for choosing Human Kinetics Coach Education as your coaching education provider!
