USA Curling
As part of USA Curling coaching development, education, and certification program, USA Curling has adopted three Human Kinetics Coach Education courses required for certification. These courses are as follows:
- Sport First Aid
- Coaching Essentials
- Coaching Principles
Youth Coach Certification
To become a certified USA Curling Youth Coach, all individuals will need to purchase, complete, and pass the following courses:
- Sport First Aid
- Coaching Essentials
Junior Coach Certification
To become a certified USA Curling Junior Coach, all individuals will need to purchase, complete, and pass the following three courses:
- Sport First Aid
- Coaching Essentials
- Coaching Principles*
*The Coaching Principles course is added here to help aid coaches in their professional development, education, and coaching for athletes in the age range and player development period. Additionally, the course meets the next level requirement.
Junior National and National Coach Certification
To become a certified USA Curling Junior National and National Level Coach, all individuals will need to purchase, complete, and pass the following two courses:
- Sport First Aid
- Coaching Principles
Upon completing any of these courses, you will have the ability to print a certificate of course completion.
