Arkansas Game & Fish Commission/Youth Shooting Sports Program

AGFC/YSSP has adopted Human Kinetics Coach Education courses as part of its state requirements for becoming an AGFC/YSSP Certified Coach.

Coaches should select the appropriate course below for the level they coach or intend to coach. Coaches should complete the course prior to their sport specific training. Once a coach has completed the course, he or she can print and/or email a transcript from the National Coaches Registry to Chuck Woodson, the AGFC Youth Shooting Sports Program Coordinator, as proof of completion of the course. Coach candidates will then be set up for sport specific training prior to coaching.

Club Level Coaches
AGFC Youth Shooting Sports Program Certified Coaches are required to complete the Coaching Essentials Online Course, attend AR Youth Shooting Sports Program Club Level shotgun sport-specific training, and have a background check prior to coaching.

Lead Club/Advance Club Level Coaches
AGFC Youth Shooting Sports Program Certified Coaches must complete the Coaching Essentials Online Course, Directing Youth Sports Programs Online Course, attend AR Youth Shooting Sports Program Lead Club/Advance Club Level shotgun sport-specific training, and have a background check prior to or coaching.

Lead Area/Advanced Area Level Coaches
AGFC Youth Shooting Sports Program Certified Coaches must complete the Coaching Essentials Online Course, Directing Youth Sports Programs Online Course, Coaching Principles Online Course, hold a Red Cross First Aid Card, attend AR Youth Shooting Sports Program Lead Area/Advanced Area Level Coaches Level shotgun sport-specific training, and have a background check prior to or coaching.

Lead Region/Advanced Region Level Coaches
AGFC Youth Shooting Sports Program Certified Coaches must complete the Coaching Essentials Online Course, Directing Youth Sports Programs Online Course, Coaching Principles Online Course, Sport First Aid Online Course, attend AR Youth Shooting Sports Program Lead Region/Advanced Region Level Coaches Level shotgun sport-specific training, and have a background check prior to or coaching.
