Frederick County Parks and Recreation

Frederick County Parks and Recreation has adopted Human Kinetics Coach Education online youth level courses as part of the requirement for becoming a coach in Frederick County Parks and Recreation programs. Coaches should have the course for their sport completed prior to their first practice. If the sport you are coaching is not listed in the table below, select the Coaching Essentials course.

Once you complete a course, your certification is good for three years. Coaches should recertify by taking any of the courses below every three years to be in good standing with Frederick County Parks and Recreation. You may print or e-mail your course transcript record from the My Courses area of the site as proof of course completion.
