CYO Athletics of the Diocese of Rochester

The Catholic Coaching Essentials online training satisfies the coaching education requirements set forth by the CYO Athletics of the Diocese of Rochester for all coaches participating in CYO Athletics of the Diocese of Rochester programs.

Human Kinetics Coach Education has designed customized online coaching courses incorporating faith-based content. The courses carry the endorsement of NFCYM. While coaches in the CYO Athletics of the Diocese of Rochester are required to take the Catholic Coaching Essentials online course prior to the start of games for their sport season, it is highly recommended that coaches also take the sport-specific course for the sport they are coaching, though this is optional.
