ConcussionWise is an online course containing approximately 20 minutes of video and a test. There are no print materials; nothing will be shipped to you. You will have immediate access to your course after purchase.

Course Description
As a coach, you are responsible for the health and safety of your athletes, and one of the biggest safety concerns today is concussion.

ConcussionWise is an online, video-based course developed specifically for coaches by Sport Safety International and offered in partnership with Human Kinetics Coach Education. The course instructs coaches on concussion basics, as well as steps to prevent and properly care for concussions when they occur.

ConcussionWise contains guidelines specific to all 50 states. After accessing the course, coaches are asked to select their state to receive information specific to their state’s guidelines for concussion management.

At the completion of the course, coaches can print a certificate of course completion directly from the website.

Audience

Geared toward high school coaches, serious club coaches, college and university undergraduate students, and advanced coaches at the youth level (those who coach athletes ages 14 and older), ConcussionWise instructs coaches on concussion basics, as well as steps to prevent and properly care for concussions when they occur.
